Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Tyler Dahl.
I began as a hobbyist, using fountain pens at the age of 14. I've always had an interest in vintage writing things - pens, paper, and ink. As I grew, I quickly decided that I wanted to learn more about pens, and how they worked on the inside. It was a natural choice for me to pick up repairing fountain pens.
I soon came to the realization that I did not want to only repair pens for myself, but for others too. I have always enjoyed making people happy, and it still remains one of my favorite things to hear a customer is highly satisfied.
I now repair fountain pens as a part time business, that is rapidly expanding. My business "officially" started in early April of 2011, though I've been repairing pens for quite a bit longer than that.
The heart of my business is professional quality pen repair, first-rate customer service, and all with a personal touch. I firmly believe that my customers should be treated better than I treat myself, and I do treat myself well! My goal is too provide you with not only excellent services, fast turn-around time, and affordable prices, but also to ensure that you have an extremely pleasant experience.
I not only offer repair services for vintage pens, but I also offer a large array of customizations/tweaks for modern pens. Anything from nib smoothing and grinding, to rebuilding broken parts, I'll never turn down any job without a very good reason. I love a tough challenge, and working on pens provides me with many of them!
I am very passionate and enthusiastic about my job. I believe this is a good thing! I love working on pens and nibs. In fact, many days I sit at my bench and wonder why people pay me to play with their fountain pens! I couldn't wish for a better job, and I hope to continue doing pen related work for as long as I can physically manage it.

Always feel free to contact me, anytime, for any reason. We can talk business, or we can talk pens for fun!
Yours truly,
Tyler Dahl
