A Parker Duofold Jr. writes again!

Here is an awesome Parker Duofold Jr. that came in the other week for basic-restoration. This pen is a button filler which I love! They're a lot of fun to work on and use. This pressure bar in this pen was very wrinkled and bent but luckily with time, patience, and skill I was able to get it back in working-order again.

Here's what this customer had to say when he got this pen back:

"I finally loaded the Parker Duofold with Noodler's Midway Blue and I am loving it. I brought it to work today and it will be put through the paces of a work day. So far, awesome job getting that Dufold Junior back in the race!"

  2. It sure is! I've been wanting to get myself a Duofold after seeing this. They're a bit expensive though for what you get... That's just my opinion of course. :)

  4. I'll bet you do. :)

How's that pen been treating you recently? Those Duofolds seem like solid little workhorses...

This pen was a lot of fun to work on!

  5. It has been working out really well.  I am a little bummed that it is getting more scratches on it that I would like but I like using my pens. :)

  6. Yea, black pens do seem to scratch pretty easily... I've been thinking of making my black Parker 51 into a matte finish. Might be cool!

I too am a user and not much of a collector. If it doesn't get used at least every other day, it doesn't stay in the collection...Regards,777 - Tyler Dahl
